Guest teachers will receive $195.34/day. 

Extended Rate:  31 days or more per academic year will receive $223.25 per day

DESCRIPTION: 

Substitute teachers receive short-term assignments to cover teacher absences from classrooms, and are responsible for following lesson plans to maintain and further student learning. Successful applicants will receive assignments through SmartFind Express substitute scheduling system.

QUALIFICATIONS:  

• This position requires at minimum a 30-day Substitute Permit issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC)  
• Candidates can qualify to apply for this Permit if they have a Bachelor's degree and we recommend passing the CBEST exam

REQUIREMENTS FOR HIRE

• Complete application for this position (including 2 references)

• Negative TB test current within past 60 days
• Sealed copies of all college transcripts
• Valid Driver's License, ID card, Permanent Residency Card or current US passport
