Guest teachers will receive $279.06/day.

Certificated subs that work 100 days or more during the 2021-22 school year will receive a one time lump sum payment of 1,000 in July 2022

DESCRIPTION: 

Substitute teachers receive short term assigments to cover teacher absences from classroom, and are responsible for following lesson plans to maintain and further student learning. Successful applicants will receive assignments through SmartFind Express substitute scheduling system.

QUALIFICATIONS:  

• This position requires at minimum a 30 day Substitute Permit issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialling (CTC)  
• Candidates can qualify to apply for this Permit if they have a Bachelor's degree and we recommend passing the CBEST exam

REQUIREMENTS FOR HIRE  

All applicants must:

• Complete application for this position (including 2 references)

• Negative TB test current within past 60 days
• Sealed copies of all college transcripts
• Valid Driver's License, ID card, Permanent Residency Card or current US passport
• Social Security Card (no copies)
